I would like to introduce myself I am Samantha and I am a Pioneer at Explorator Consulting Ltd.
On my travels this week I visited a manufacturing company to quote for an update on their Health and Safety offering. When I asked what their current provider did for them I was surprised to find it fell short in an area that is fundamentally one of the most important. No visits were conducted at any of the sites where the installation of their equipment took place.
How can a health and safety policy, risk assessment or method statement be written if you have not visited a working site to see what happens? How can you check that method statements are implemented and managed, that suitable checks are being carried out to keep both the customer and work force safe?
What value is there from a Health and Safety advisor coming to sit in the comfort of a warm office or being at the end of a phone when the risky element of your business is not taking place in that warm office but out in the field?
At Explorator Consulting we will ensure that all elements of your health and safety are looked into and we will go and check that cold muddy site if that is what your business requires.
